Seasonal Lawn & Landscape Services in Howard County, MD
Keep Your Yard Looking Its Best, All Year Round
What Your Yard Needs, Season by Season
Every lawn in Central Maryland has a different job to do depending on the month. Spring is about waking the turf up and getting beds planted. Summer is maintenance and keeping weeds out. Fall is the heavy lifting, aeration, overseeding and clearing leaves before winter. And winter is about keeping your property safe and accessible when it snows.
We have been working these seasons in Howard County since 1991. That means knowing that oaks around here are still dropping leaves in December, that clay soil compacts hard by August, and that the aeration window is shorter than most people expect.
Below is what happens when, and where to go for each service.

The Year at a Glance
Spring
March – May
Cleanup after winter, core aeration and seeding, fresh mulch, bed edging, and seasonal color planted out.
Summer
June – August
Weekly mowing and trimming, weeding, fertilisation, and keeping beds and borders sharp through the heat.
Fall
September – December
The busiest season. Aeration and overseeding through mid-October, then leaf removal and full property cleanup.
Winter
December – February
Snow and ice removal for driveways, walkways and commercial lots, plus dormant pruning where it is needed.
Our Seasonal Services

Aeration & Overseeding
Fall is the window. Core aeration relieves compacted clay so water and nutrients reach the roots, and overseeding fills the thin patches.

Fall Cleanup
Beds cleared, perennials cut back, debris removed and the property left ready to sit through winter without damage underneath.

Leaf Removal
One clearing or scheduled visits through the season, depending on what is growing on your property.

Snow Removal
Driveways, walkways and commercial lots cleared when the weather turns. Contracts are agreed in autumn, before the first forecast.
One Team, All Four Seasons
Most of our clients keep us on year-round, which means nobody has to remember when aeration season opens or chase someone down in the first snow.
No long-term contracts. Choose the services you want and adjust as the seasons change.
Common Questions
When should I book fall services?
September for aeration and overseeding, September or early October for cleanup and leaf removal. The autumn calendar fills quickly and the good dates go first.
Do I have to sign up for the whole year?
No. There are no long-term contracts. Pick the services you want and change them as the seasons do.
When does the aeration window close?
Around mid-October in Maryland. After that the soil cools past the point where new seed will root properly, and anything put down waits until spring.
Do you handle commercial properties?
Yes. We maintain HOA common areas, office parks and retail properties across Howard County, including snow and ice management through winter.
